Kim Se Jeong will return to the K-pop scene with a love song.
Kim will release her new song, “Baby I Love U,” that she collaborated with Municon on June 23rd at 6 PM KST. This is her comeback as a singer only four months after she released I’m in March.
This new song is a K-pop version of “Baby I Love U,” a hip-hop love song by TEE. The original song topped various music charts and recorded 35M YouTube views. On top of that, Che’Nelle and Mamas Gun released remakes of this song, surpassing 10 million downloads in cumulative sales.
Kim Se Jeong’s version of “Baby I Love U” is rearranged and produced by Iconic Sounds that have worked with BoA, EXO, and NCT. The catchy melody and heartfelt lyrics will come alive with Kim’s clean tone.
Since her solo debut with “Flower Way” in 2016, Kim has swept various music charts. Since then, she has solidified her unique color with songs like “Tunnel,” “Plant,” “Whale,” and “Warning.”
