On 29th, The Daily Sports confirmed, “Lee Kwang Soo will star in a new drama The Murderer’s Shopping List.”
The Murderer’s Shopping List is a thriller about a variety of crimes and risky situations that can happen anytime within the neighborhood, including child abuse, urban reindustrialization, and stalking between neighbors. It will be a series adaptation based on Kang Ji Young’s novel.
Lee Kwang Soo plays MS Mart’s cashier, Ahn Dae Sung. With gifted memory that is not much helpful in real-life and timidness that doesn’t let him run away from injustice, he seems a simple, ordinary individual we can easily spot in town. One day, his life is turned upside down because of an incident that happened in the supermarket when he was 10.
Lee Kwang Soo recently stepped down from Running Man to focus on his main career. After finishing shooting Happy New Year, he will be joining The Murderer’s Shopping List. Screenwriter Han Ji Wan will work on the scripts, and The Accidental Detective 2: In Action director Lee Eun Hee will helm the series.
It is still under discussion on which platform it will be aired.
