Next week, “vocal queen” Taeyeon is making her comeback with “Weekend.”
Taeyeon’s new song “Weekend” is a disco-pop genre song that combines gentle guitar melody with retro synth sound. The lyrics depict the desire to get away from the repetitive daily routines and do whatever you want on the weekends.
On top of that, Taeyeon’s sweet voice and singing-like rap will add a heart-fluttering mood to the song.
So far, Taeyeon’s solo songs such as “I,” “Rain,” “Why,” “Fine,” and “Happy” have received tremendous love from the public. Along with some more hit OSTs and collaborations, she has become the unique vocalist tho is loved for her colorful vocal and excellent emotions.
Meanwhile, Taeyeon’s new song “Weekend” will be released on July 6th at 6 PM KST.
