Park Hae Jin‘s next series, Showtime From Now, will be on MBC in the first half of 2022. It will be his first MBC series in a long time since he starred in Kkondae Intern.
Showtime From Now is a fun fantasy series about Cha Cha Woong, a famous magician who knows how to handle ghosts, and a hot-blooded female police officer born with supernatural power. Together, they collaborate to solve mysterious cases.
Producer Lee Hyung Min will helm the series, and screenwriter Ha Yoon Ah will pen the script. Producer Lee has been recognized for his directing skills through popular series such as Strong Girl Bong-soon (2017), My Horrible Boss (2016), Bad Guy (2010), I’m sorry, and I Love You (2004). Author Ha Yoon Ah has also received attention for her unique perspective and catchy lines in her previous work, Mystic Pop-up Bar (2020).
Viewers are curious to see who would be the ghosts that Park Hae Jin will boss around. Casting is currently underway, and filming will begin in September 2021.
