Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon will likely perform together on Netflix’s new original series, A Cry for the Wolf.
According to the film industry, on the 2nd, the two recently decided to star in A Cry for the Wolf. Currently, they are coordinating details. Based on a webtoon of the same name, the series �is a story of three men trying to dig their way out of debt.
Midnight Runners (2017) and The Divine Fury (2019) director Kim Joo Hwan helm the series, and Seed Film and Studio N. present the work. By producing the 8-part series, A Cry for the Wolf, Seed Film will be continuing to work with Netflix after the first Netflix original Korean film, Moral Sense.
Lee Do Hyun became famous for his appearance on 18 Again and Sweet Home. And he captured the viewer’s eyes in the latest show KBS Youth of May. On the other hand, Kwak Dong Yeon is a rising star who became noteworthy starring in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and Vincenzo. Netflix’s decision of casting them as the leads may not be unrelated to the fact that they received great reviews from their subscribers worldwide.
A Cry for the Wolf will begin filming in the second half of this year.
