LOONA confirmed their summer comeback.

At midnight on June 1st, KST, LOONA dropped a teaser image of their new mini-album & officially announcing their comeback.

The released image shows the title “&” and Latin sentences “Citius, Altius, Fortius. Acta est Fabula, Plaudite” (Swifter, Higher, Stronger. The play is over, applaud) in an arch form. Not only does “&” mean “and,” but it also symbolizes the meaning of “connect” and “become one” in this upcoming album.

In particular, & is expected to catch global attention as it’s LOONA’s first album in about 8 months since 12:00 (Midnight). Debuted in 2016 with an unconventional project, LOONA became one of the best 4th generation K-pop girl groups with hit songs like “Hi High,” “Butterfly, “So What,” and “Why Not?”

Last year, the group’s 3rd mini-album, 12:00, made it on Billboard 200 and topped the iTunes chart in 51 countries. On top of that, LOONA became the first K-pop girl group in history to rank in U.S. Radio Chart for 9 weeks, proving their global power.

Meanwhile, LOONA’s new album & will be released on June 28th at 6 PM KST.
