Jin Ki Joo and Wi Ha Joon’s Midnight will be released both in theaters and on TVING, a streaming service.

Midnight is a chase movie involving deadly combat. The story begins as a deaf girl, Kyung Mi, witnesses a murder at night and becomes a new target of a two-faced serial killer, Do Shik.

Little Forest and Homemade Love Story actress Jin Ki Joo took on the role of bright and bold deaf woman Kyung Mi. She did a great job playing a character who uses sign language and text messages to communicate with others throughout the movie.

Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum and 18 Again actor Wi Ha Joon will play an unprecedented villain. In the night streets of Seoul, serial killer Do Shik, who targets anyone regardless of gender, is a two-faced person who usually gives off a gentle and kind vibe.

Kim Hye Yoon will play student So Jung, who encounters Do Shik before Kyung Mi does. And Park Hoon will be Jong Tak, a manager at a security company and a former officer in the marines. In the movie, the character will do anything to get his sister So Jung back. Kil Hae Yeon plays Kyung Mi’s deaf mother, who faces danger with her daughter.

The revealed teaser poster features a refined design and a sense of danger that’s around the corner.
