The screenwriter for Taxi Driver has been replaced due to a disagreement.

On May 17th, an official from Taxi Driver shared, “Writer Oh Sang Ho has decided to leave the project under the mutual agreement due to a difference in opinion on where the remaining plot is heading. Writer Lee Ji Hyun will be replacing him.”

Lee Ji Hyun became in charge of the scripts from episode 11, which aired on May 14th. She will be writing the series to the final episode.

However, since several projects saw a cold streak since the writer’s replacement, not all viewers welcome the news. For example, The Uncanny Counter replaced its writer with only four episodes remaining, which sparked a heated debate over its quality.

Fortunately, the ratings of Taxi Driver remained the same even after the replacement of the writer. Yet, there are still many concerns over the work.

Meanwhile, Taxi Driver revolves around the Rainbow Taxi Company and the taxi driver Kim Do Gi as they take revenge for victims who were mistreated. The project has gained hot popularity, recording 16% ratings. Now, only four episodes are remaining till the end.
