Lee Jong Suk is coming back to theatre screens with Decibel (working title) after his time in the army. Directed by Hwang In Ho, the movie will be the actor’s first piece after his military duty. Fans are happy to see him back in theatres, especially after his performance in V.I.P., which screened in 2017.
His agency A-MAN Project announced on the 29th, “It has been confirmed that Lee Jong Suk will feature in the movie Decibel (working title), and he started filming for it from the 20th.”
The movie is an action film depicting a terror in the middle of a city. As the terrorist tries to take over the city with a sound-sensitive bomb, former marine deals with the chaos. The film will also work with the nation’s top submarine and chemical explosive experts to realistically depict the bombing scene and the characters who try to stop it.
Lee Jong Suk will play the role of a Naval captain who works along with his crew on the submarine. Despite getting tons of role offers, the actor chose Decibel to be his first returning piece, along with his cameo appearance in The Witch 2. The upcoming movie will satisfy fans who have been waiting for the actor’s return. He will work with Kim Rae Won, Jung Sang Hoon, Park Byung Eun, Jo Dal Hwan, and Cha Eun Woo.
