The Dramas on the 4th Week of March 2021
SBS’s The Penthouse 2 saw a slight drop in popularity but still managed to keep its top spot for six weeks. Kim So Yeon’s flawless acting received rave reviews, while her deliberate “overacting” put a big smile on viewers. SBS’s Joseon Exorcist, which was canceled after two episodes, landed at No.2. The drama was heavily under fire for historical inaccuracy. And the criticisms also headed towards production staff and actors. tvN’s Vincenzo decreased in popularity and climbed down to third place for the first time.
The popularity of KBS’s River Where The Moon Rises moved downward for three weeks in a row. But it rose one notch to fourth place. tvN’s Mouse also fell one notch to fifth place as its popularity saw a drop compared to the previous week. tvN’s new series Navillera debuted at No.6. Many showed satisfaction in just the right amount of drama and praised the work as a “healing drama.”

tvN’s Yoo Quiz On The Block topped the chart for two consecutive weeks, even seeing a sharp rise in popularity. BTS’s appearance became the hottest topic, as the viewer loved their sincerity. JTBC’s Knowing Bros landed at No.2 for the second week, keeping a rising trend in its popularity. MBC’s I Live Alone came in third. But people showed various reactions to Park Na Rae, who got embroiled in controversy over sexual harassment. The sixth-place tvN’s DoReMi Market drew enthusiastic support from fans for ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo and Yoon Sanha. Hyeri also surprised viewers with her surprise appearance.
