[Weekly TV Top 10] ‘The Penthouse 2’ Tops the List for Four Consecutive Weeks

The Dramas on the 1st Week of March 2021

The Penthouse 2 blasted into the 4th week at No. 1, acquiring all the topics with its fast and provocative development. The 8th episode, which aired on the 13th, topped the viewership chart on Friday and Saturday. It garnered 26.1% ratings (second part) in the Seoul metropolitan area and 24.8% (second part) nationwide and soared up to 26.8%. On the other hand, Vincenzo continued to enjoy hot popularity with a thrilling storyline. But the Chinese bibimbap product placement has sparked controversy. Song Joong Ki, who was eating the bibimbap in the series, is also being criticized. In the meanwhile, River Where the Moon Rises rose to 3rd spot as Na In Woo, who replaced Ji Soo, received positive responses. And Beyond Evil rose to 4th place after the solid plot and actors’ passionate performances went viral.

It became a hot topic when Jin Ki Joo appeared as a guest and introduced her past careers in various fields. ㅜNext, Knowing Bros heralded Hyeri and Rose’s appearances next week and rose to 3rd place. Finally, Rose also appeared as a special MC on My Little Old Boy on the 14th, ranking 4th on the “TOP 10 Popular Casts” list.
