Kwak Dong Yeon is to make an appearance on tvN’s Drama Stage 2021: Attention Hog, following tvN’s Vincenzo.
The actor will play the leading role of Kang Tae Soo in Attention Hog (literal title), which is the fifth work of tvN’s Drama Stage 2021. To be aired on the 17th, the show is a black comedy that takes place when an influencer gets kidnapped by a murderer after gaining popularity with the lie that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Alongside Kwak Dong Yeon will be Ahn So Hee and Song Deok Ho.
Kwak Dong Yeon plays Kang Tae Soo, the kidnapper within the show. The character has been working since graduating from high school, for 10 years, only to pay his debts away. After living such a hard life, he plans to kidnap Yoo Ha Na (played by Ahn So Hee), an influencer who boasts about earning 50 million won a month.
He is also to portray Kang Tae Soo’s ambivalent life in detail, with his brutality of not hesitating to kidnap someone, but also the diligence as a hard-working youth.
