EXO’s Baekhyun will be making a comeback to the K-pop scene as a solo artist.
His agency SM Entertainment informed SpoTV News on the 4th that the singer is “planning to release his new solo album on March 30th.”
This is the first time in four months that Baekhyun is releasing a new song within Korea, since his digital single “Amusement Park” back in December. It is also 10 months after his second solo EP album Delight last May that he is releasing a physical album.
Delight made its records as it surpassed a million sales in just a month after its release, making Baekhyun a million-seller both as EXO and a solo singer. It was the first time in 19 years since Kim Gun Mo’s seventh album in 2001 that a solo artist rose as a million-seller, once again demonstrating Baekhyun’s popularity.
The artist recently finished an online solo concert in success and released his first solo album in Japan named BAEKHYUN. Expectations and questions are rising for what Baekhyun will present to the public with this coming solo album.
