Baek Jong Won mentioned that he will be taking a rest after airing until the end of February. He said that there are about four more episodes left till the end of the season.

He mentioned a new plan for the future season saying, “Being on a live show is very difficult. I’m going to replenish my energy and come back with new menus.”

First aired in June last year, The Paikfather drew attention as a live cooking show which allowed viewers to communicate with those in the show, and vice versa.

As a project to help out beginners who do not know about cooking, the live show challenges wonderful recipes only with easy cooking tools and ultra-simple ingredients that everyone has back at home. The show essentially gave a new meaning to the 5 p.m. KST on a Saturday with its revolutionary contents.
