Taecyeon became a hot topic on social media when he answered to (G) I-DLE’s Soyeon’s love for 2PM.
On Jan 29, Taecyeon tagged a video titled “2PM’s real fan Jeon Soyeon,” and tweeted a short message, “Hmm?? Now that it’s all out in the open, Soyeon, please write us a song.”
Soyeon is famous for being the official HOTTEST (2PM’s fan club name) among (G)I-DLE fans. She has expressed her love for the group multiple times on broadcast, even digesting all their choreography. And as a member of 2PM, Taecyeon requested his fan, who is well-known for her songwriting and music production skills, write a song for them.
Since her debut, Soyeon has been recognized as an all-around idol who can rap, perform, sing, self-compose and self-produce. She wrote some of (G)I-DLE’s hit songs such as “Han,” “Senorita,” and “Oh My God.” The group’s latest title song “I Burn” is also produced by Soyeon.
With this, attention now focuses on whether the “happy” meeting between 2PM’s fangirl Soeyon and 2PM will be possible for 2PM’s long-awaited comeback.
