SM’s new girl group, aespa, will release a new song on February 5.
According to SM Entertainment, aespa will drop their new single Forever on February 5 at 6pm KST, exciting their global fans.
Their new song “Forever” is a new remake of Yoo Young Jin’s “Forever (to all the fathers preparing their children’s Christmas gifts)” from the 2000 winter album Winter Vacation In SMTOWN.com.
The original composer Yoo Young Jin personally rearranged the song, and “Forever” was reborn as a medium-tempo ballad song that combines pure lyrics that promise eternal love with warm acoustic guitar and string sound, highlighting aespa’s pure and innocent charm different from their debut song “Black Mamba.”
Meanwhile, aespa debuted with “Black Mamba” in November last year and proved themselves to be SM’s monster rookie by exceeding 100 million views with debut MV in the shortest time period.
