Park Gyu Young and Lee Jae Wook in Talks for ‘Witch’s Love’ Writer’s New Romance Drama

Park Gyu Young and Lee Jae Wook have been offered to take leads in the new drama Dal Li and Gamja-tang (literal title).

Earlier today, a media outlet reported that Park Gyu Young and Lee Jae Wook have been cast for lead roles in the new drama Dal Li and Gamja-tang. In response, the actors’ respective agencies both replied, “He/She has been offered the role and is reviewing it.”

Dal Li and Gamja-tang tells the story of parvenu Jin Mu Hak unexpectedly falling in love with Kim Dal Li, all the while trying to steal an art museum from her.

If they confirm their appearances, Park will play Kim Dal Li and Lee will be taking on the role of Jin Mu Hak. Kim Dal Li, who used to be a researcher at the Kröller-Müller Museum, returns to Korea as the Cheongsong Museum of Art director. Not only is she from a prestigious family, but she is also well versed in art, history, philosophy, religion, and can 7 languages, including English, Japanese, Chinese, French, and Spanish.

Jin Mu Hak is the director of Don Don’s F&B division. He is the second son of a family who developed a small pork back-bone stew restaurant into a global foodsesrvice enterprise with more than 400 franchises. He has never not once been at the bottom of his class and is a high school graduate.

This new drama is penned by Witch’s Love screenwriter Son Eun Hye and Park Se Eun and directed by director Lee Jung Seop.
