Blackpink’s Rosé will unveil her solo song for the first time at the upcoming online concert.
YG Entertainment announced, “Rosé finished filming the music video for the title song of her first solo album earlier this month. As it is a grand-scale music video with the most production fee, we’re putting all our efforts into the post-production. We are planning to officially announce the release schedule soon.”
However, Rosé expressed her desire to perform her solo song on stage first to fans who she hadn’t seen in a long time, the agency decided to respect her wish to unveil her song at the concert.
As this is Blackpink’s second solo project following Jennie’s “SOLO,” fans’ expectations have already been through the roof since the news about her solo album hit the wire. Regarding Rosé’s solo song, YG shared, “It will capture all the merits of her sweet yet soulful voice. It will definitely be different from previous Blackpink songs.”
Meanwhile, Blackpink will hold their first-ever livestream concert, “THE SHOW,” on Jan 31 at 2 pm KST. YG upped the anticipations as the hinted, “We hope this will be a good gift for fans as it’s a concert that the members have worked so hard for the past two months to showcase high0quality performances with the live band.”
