Blackpink’s Jennie has opened her own YouTube channel, making headlines.
On Jan 16, Jennie launched her YouTube channel “Jennierubyjane Official” and posted her first-ever YouTube video titled “Hello world . From Jennie.”
“I finally opened a YouTube channel,” Jennie said in the released video. “I was thinking about what to do for my birthday and turned on the camera to share my daily life and fun things with you.”
After introducing her daily looks, she unveiled a cute cover MV (?) of the song “When Will My Life Begin” by Mandy Moore from the film Tangled. At the end, she shared, “I hope you guys enjoyed the video I prepared for you today, and I’ll try hard to make better videos for you guys from now on!”
The video, which received a great response as soon as it was released, garnered 8.4 million views and more than 220,000 subscribers in just five hours since its release. With this, Jennie has qualified for YouTube’s Silver Button in just a few hours.
