A former member of Baby V.O.X Shim Eun Jin has married actor Jeon Seung Bin.
Shin Eun Jin confessed about her marriage to Jeon Seung Bin on her Instagram on the 12th, writing, “As of January 12, 2021, we became each other’s spouses. We first got to know each other through MBC’s drama Cruel Love and remained as colleagues until we found out about our feelings by the end of the drama. Since then, we’ve been in a serious relationship, and we’ve come this far.” She continued, “Some may think it’s too early to get married after a year of dating, but I think it’s fair to say that I am confident about this person.”
She also asked for support prior to a new starting point in her life. “We haven’t set a date yet, as it is a tough time to be having a wedding. We are going to wait for when our families can return to Korea from abroad.”
Her agency, BB Entertainment, also officially announced, “Shim Eun Jin and Jeon Seung Bin legally became a couple after completing their marriage registration on the 12th. The two met through the drama Cruel Love and realized each other’s feelings and have been in love since. If the COVID-19 situation calms down, the two will invite their families and a few acquaintances to hold a simple ceremony. The exact dates are yet to be decided. We will continue to greet everyone with unchanging works in the future, so please give lots of blessings and support to the two people ahead of their new beginnings.”
Meanwhile, Jeon Seung Bin has made himself known by appearing in dramas such as Chief of Staff and Cruel Love. He also played the role of Peter in MBC’s The Spy Who Loved Me from last year. Shim Eun Jin made her debut as a member of Baby V.O.X in 1998 and has since expanded her career as an actress.
