Lee Kwang Soo is in talks to star in the new fantasy action drama Hero (literal title).
An official from King Kong by Starship told YTN star, “Lee Kwang Soo has been offered to star in the drama Hero and is positively reviewing it.”
Set in this generation in which it is difficult to distinguish hero and evil, Hero is a fantasy action hero drama that tells the story of what happens when a former prosecutor who got fired for being a busybody gains a special ability. The drama will be directed and penned by director Choi Do Hoon and Possessed writer Park Hee Gang.
The role Lee Kwang Soo is offered is the main character Oh Tae Kyu, a former prosecutor who is currently jobless. He was born with the nature to meddle in other people’s business and is the kind of person who is unable to hold back when he sees injustice. Another “power” he holds is the superb athletic ability.
If he confirms his appearance, it will be his comeback to the small screen three years after Live. The channel and broadcast schedule for Hero is currently undecided.
