Controversy sparked when DoReMi Market supposedly “disparaged” non-celebrities’ appearances. In the new snack game “Where’s this picture from?” introduced on Jan 2, a photo of non-celebrities audiences in KBS’s Ask Me Anything was released as a question. Looking at the photo, cast members burst into laughter. It seemed like no one realized a problem as they were laughing at the non-celebrities’ appearances. Netizens soon expressed their discomfort over how they made fun of non-celebrities who appeared on a different TV show. They pointed out, “They just visited the studio as audiences, so why are they laughing at them?” “The fact that they made fun of non-celebrities was careless” and “The cast and the production team were all lackadaisical.”
