CNBLUE will release their 8th mini-album RE-CODE today. The title track “Then, Now and Forever” is a song that candidly speaks about the complicated feelings of those who have to live on after being left behind.
There are three points to appreciate in the upcoming album, which captures the maturity of CNBLUE, who are celebrating their 10th anniversary of debut.

#Start of Their Second Act

Celebrating the 10th anniversary of their debut, CNBLUE has seen a lot of changes surrounding them this year, including all three members completing their military service and entering their 30s. The album, which will be released after three years and eight months, will be about “RE-CODE,” which means redefining the team name “Code Name BLUE.” Not only will this album showcase the group’s unchanging teamwork and increase the level of perfection, but it will also signal the beginning of the group’s second act by adding comfort and relaxation. RE-CODE will be the proof of what CNBLUE has built up over the past 10 years and become an album that will hopefully draw CNBLUE that is now facing the tide of changes.

# “CNBLUE’s Signature” Alternative Rock

CNBLUE is back with their new song “Then, Now and Forever” after three years and eight months. Like the previous rock songs they have introduced so far, it has increased its perfection with emotional melodies and alternative rock arrangements and expresses the “tempo” with the heightened pop sound in the chorus. The music video teaser video released earlier caught the eye with members’ matured and brilliant visuals and captured the sincerity and confidence of the band entering its 11th year. Expectations are high on what kind of sound CNBLUE, which has produced numerous hit songs, will surprise us with this time.

#Entire Album Written and Composed by Jung Yong Hwa

This new album, written and composed by Jung Yong Hwa, puts down the hot and glamorous heat of their 20s and features changes in the members’ lives that now contain a little bit of simple and warm comfort. The album will include a total of 5 tracks that let you realize their relaxing music depth: “Then, Now and Forever,” a sentimental alternative rock genre; “Till Then,” an acoustic pop song that features minimal instruments with guitar riffs in the center; “In Time,” a mid-tempo R&B song; “Winter Again,” a country-style folk song; and “Blue Stars,” a fan song for BOICE.
