Namgung Min is discussing his appearance on MBC’s new drama Black Sun (literal title).
According to the actor’s agency 935 Entertainment, Namgung Min was offered to take the lead role in the upcoming drama Black Sun and is positively reviewing it.
Black Sun is a spy drama about a NIS top agent confronting a huge monster that exists behind the organization as he goes after the inside traitor. If Namgung Min confirms his appearance, he will be taking on the role of Han Ji Hyuk, the best killer within NIS’s foreign intelligence department.
Black Sun will be programmed as an MBC drama next year and is known to have a budget of 15 billion KRW (about 13.5 million USD). Kim Sung Ryong will be directing the drama and writer Park Suk Ho penned the script.
Meanwhile, Namgung Min will greet viewers with tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Awaken, set to premiere on November 30.
