LOONA is displaying signs of global success!
According to Billboard, LOONA entered the Billboard “Artist 100” Chart for the first time since debut, reaching #97.
The Billboard Artist 100 Chart measures an artist’s influence by tracking digital/physical music sales, streaming count, radio broadcast, and social media rankings. Next to the biggest K-pop girl groups BLACKPINK and TWICE, LOONA is the third girl group to debut on the chart. LOONA is also the first girl group from outside the “Big 3” companies to make their mark on this Artist 100 chart.
In addition, LOONA dominated eight other Billboard charts, including #1 on the Heatseekers Albums chart, #4 on the World Albums chart, #13 on the Top Album Sales chart, and #8 on the Emerging Artists chart.
Earlier, LOONA debuted at #112 on the Billboard 200 chart with their mini-album ‘Midnight’ (12:00).
LOONA’s album also debuts on the Top 200 of the England Rolling Stone Album Chart and topped iTunes charts in 51 countries. Their album was also a success in Korea, as it reached the top 20 in best girl group first week sales.
