VERIVERY’s Minchan will be taking a temporary hiatus from his group activities in order to focus on his health.
According to Jellyfish Entertainment, “Minchan’s health conditioned worsened and he experienced symptoms of psychological anxiety while promoting the group’s recent album. He has visited a hospital and received treatment through therapy and medication. Upon being advised that he needs adequate rest and stability, we decided after much deliberation that he will need to take a hiatus from album promotions and group activities. He will take a break and focus on treatment.
“As we made this decision in order to prioritize our artist’s health, we ask for your understanding. We apologize for worrying fans who may have been upset by the sudden news. We will do our best to support Minchan in his recovery.”
