The movie Confession (literal title), starring So Ji Sub and Kim Yoon Jin, has unveiled the teaser video and the first still photo.
Confession tells the story of a promising businessman named Yoo Min Ho (So Ji Sub), who has been named the prime suspect of a murder case, and a lawyer named Yang Shin Ae (Kim Yoon Jin), who has been hired to prove his innocence, trying to piece together hidden pieces of the case.
The teaser video draws keen attention with an intense development that dramatically shows the crisis Yoo Min Ho faces. Yoo Min Ho is attacked inside the hotel room, where he was forced to come after he received a blackmail to expose his affair, and falls unconscious. When he wakes up, he finds his mistress Kim Sae Hee (Nana) dead on the floor, and Yoo Min Ho is arrested as the prime suspect of the locked-room murder.
Yoo Min Ho, who became a murder suspect overnight, visits Yang Shin Ae, the best lawyer with the perfect career, to prove his innocence. The video raises curiosity about what kind of truth the two will come upon.
The first still photo was also dropped. In the photo, the side of Yoo Min Ho, who faces the biggest crisis in his life after becoming the suspect of his mistress’s murder, is captured from a distance. The detailed portrayal of Yoo Min Ho’s complex feelings of being pushed to the edge of the cliff adds to expectations for the intense character created by So Ji Sub.
Confession is directed by Marine Boy director Yoon Jong Seok and produced by Realies Pictures, the production company of Along with the Gods franchise. Confession is currently in the post-production stage.
