BLACKPINK’s music video for their debut title track “BOOMBAYAH” has surpassed 1 billion views!

According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s “BOOMBAYAH” music video passed 1 billion views on October 13th at 8:26 AM KST. This music video became the first K-pop debut music video to reach over a billion views.

This marks BLACKPINK’s third music video to reach 1 billion views. The music videos for “DDU-DU DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love” each broke records. When “DDU-DU DDU-DU” music video passed 1 billion views, BLACKPINK became the first idol group to reach the milestone. After the “Kill This Love” music video also surpassed 1 billion views, BLACKPINK became the first K-pop group to have two music videos with over 1 billion views.
