Following news of BLACKPINK featuring as guests on Knowing Bros, BLACKPINK has also been confirmed to appear on Running Man.
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK will film for SBS Running Man sometime this week.
This marks the first time in three years and ten months that BLACKPINK will appear on Running Man as a full group. BLACKPINK previously guest-starred on the show in December 2016. Since the group usually does not participate in Korean variety shows due to world tours and packed schedules, anticipation for BLACKPINK’s episode is at an all-time high.
Besides Running Man, BLACKPINK will also be featuring in the October 16th episode of JTBC Knowing Bros. They last appeared on the show in 2017.
BLACKPINK recently released their first full-length album ‘The Album’ and has been breaking numerous records. “Lovesick Girls” and other b-side tracks charted highly on multiple platforms, and the music video for the title track reached 100 million views in record time. BLACKPINK also became the first K-pop girl group to surpass one million pre-orders for an album. The group is now embarking on full-fledged promotions.
