In the recent Coffee Prince documentary, Kim Dong Wook, Kim Jae Wook, and Gong Yoo recalled their memories with the late Lee Eon, bringing everyone to tears.

On Oct.1, the second part of the Coffee Prince documentary showed actors talking about the late Lee Eon, who starred in Coffee Prince as Hwang Min Yeop.

Kim Jae Wook held his interview on Aug. 21, the day Lee Eon died in a motorcycle accident, in honor of his friend. He said, “I saw the VCR, and it was weird to see him there. Lee Eon, Hwang Min Yeop, Park Sang Min (Lee Eon’s real name), the person I knew. Seeing him in his 20s…”

The cast recalled their memories with him. In particular, Gong Yoo said, “He was a very manly guy. The sad thing is that even though he could have shown so much after Coffee Prince, he never got to show them.”

At the time, Gong Yoo was serving in the military. He added, “Jae Wook and I cried our eyes out in front of the coffin to the point where we couldn’t get our heads together. Even when we met, we chose not to talk about him. On purpose. It was just too painful. Many years have passed since then, but it still hurts to think about him.”
