J-Hope gave sincere advice to V, who is currently working on his mixtape.
In the recent episode of JTBC’s BTS In The SOOP, which aired on Sept. 16, V and J-Hope shared a serious conversation over the mixtape.
J-Hope asked V, who was driving the car, about V’s mixtape. V said, “It’s my first mixtape, so I’m really nervous. I’m worried. I have no idea when this reality show will air, but I might still be working on my mixtape even when the show is ended.”
J-Hope advised V not to feel too much pressure. He added, “You just have to do what you want to do and show the music you want to show. We are not doing this (releasing mixtapes), hoping to achieve great results.”
V nodded and said, “I am doing this because I want to show the music I like, but I’m scared that it’ll look as another achievement. But I’m not thinking about that.”
Hearing that, J-Hope gave his sincerest advice, saying, “Of course, what comes out first is bound to be expected. But you’re not going to end there. Whether you’re looking forward to it or feeling various things about the outcome, you are going in the right direction. Anyways, trying seems to be a good direction in itself. You can do whatever you want and accept it.”
