Ryu Kyung Soo, who recently took on the role of Choi Seung Kwon in Itaewon Class, has been cast as the lead role in the new film Cabriolet (literal title).

According to a media outlet, Ryu Kyung Soo recently received an offer from Cabriolet‘s production team and is positively reviewing it.

Cabriolet tells the story of young people who are polite to their bosses, are kind to their subordinates, work hard, and are good at social life. Earlier, it was reported that Geum Sae Rok confirmed her appearance as Oh Ji Ah. Ryu Kyung Soo will star as a farmer.

It is said that Cabriolet will raise the audience’s sympathy by realistically showing the modern-day people who are suffering from the Burnout Syndrome.

Meanwhile, Cabriolet will be written and directed by Itaewon Class writer Gwang Jin. With this, he will make his debut as a full-length commercial film director. Attention is focusing on the two’s reunion in a new project.
