ATEEZ became a hot topic with their special stage outfits.
In the recent episode of MBC’s Show! Music Core, which aired on August 15, ATEEZ took the stage with Hanbok outfits and performed their song “INCEPTION.”
After ATTEZ’s performance, various online communities and netizens praised ATEEZ’s new outfits, saying, “Every different details in their hanbok is awesome,” “The fact that they wore hanbok outfits today is all the more meaningful,” “I’m surprised to see hot hanbok perfectly fits K-POP,” or “ATEEZ’s logo is so beautifully combined with hanbok.”
C-ZANN E’s designer Lee Seo Jung, who prepared ATEEZ’s hanbok stage outfit, said, “We received the overall concept of ‘INCEPTION’ and got the idea from the lyrics ‘a dream in a dream.’ We then incorporated our classical literature ‘The Cloud Dream of the Nine’ and used Seonggyungwan garment of black and gold hanbok as an inner layer.”
Meanwhile, with the success of Agust D’s “Daechwita” and BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That,” hanbok is gaining more and more popularity.
