
Koyote member Shinji candidly expressed her feelings regarding her unexpected marriage announcement with her 7-year-younger partner.
She posted a photo on Instagram on June 21st, writing, “You must have been surprised to see the news.”
Multiple media outlets reported that Shinji had a wedding photoshoot with singer MoonOne. As the images from their wedding shoot quickly circulated, speculation arose about the couple’s wedding planned for next year.
She stated, “I wanted to tell my fans and friends first, but the journalists were a step ahead.” She added, “As reported, we did have a wedding photoshoot today. I apologize for not posting sooner, as I was in the middle of the shoot when I saw the news.”

She further explained, “With my busy schedule for Koyote’s album and domestic tour concerts starting with the Sydney performance this year, we decided to do the wedding photoshoot in advance.”
She promised, “I’ll do my best to personally share the news of our wedding, which will take place next year.”
Her fiancé, MoonOne, is seven years younger than Shinji and gained recognition after reaching the Top 4 on JTBC’s Hidden Singer in 2013. He also drew attention for his exceptional skills on MBC’s Trot National Sports Festival in 2020. He officially debuted with his single album Let’s Take a Break in 2022.
The couple reportedly developed their relationship after meeting when Shinji was a DJ on an MBC radio show. Shinji and MoonOne are set to hold their wedding in the first half of next year at a location in Seoul.
Meanwhile, Shinji and MoonOne will release their duet song “Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo” on various online music platforms on June 26th.
