VIXX‘s Ken will start his military service next month.
Jellyfish Entertainment announced on June 28, “VIXX’s Ken will join the army on July 6. The location and time of his enlistment will stay private for safety reasons.”
Earlier on June 27, Ken also wrote a handwritten letter on the official fan cafe. He wrote, “I don’t know where to begin. I’m always grateful for you. I recently applied to join a military band and was accepted, so I will go to fulfill my military duty.”
He added, “I will always cheer up and do my best in the army, thinking about all the times I cheered up during my activities, so please stay healthy and happy. I’m sure you’re shocked by the sudden news, but I wrote this because I wanted to tell you personally. I’ve always been thankful and will be thankful. I’ve always loved you and will love you.”
After making his debut in 2012 as VIXX, Ken has been active in various genres of works, from his idol activities to musical. In May, he released his first solo album, drawing attention with his extraordinary vocals.
