BTS swept the iTunes charts with their pre-released title track of their upcoming Japanese full-length album.

Big Hit Entertainment announced on Juen 20 that BTS’s Japanese song “Stay Gold” topped the iTunes “Top Songs” chart in 82 regions, including Japan, the United States, Britain, Brazil, and India.

It is the highest record set by BTS with a Japanese song. Their Japanese single album Lights, released in July last year, topped the charts in 43 regions.

“Stay Gold” is the title track of the fourth full-length Japanese album MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 ~THE JOURNEY, which will be released on July 15.

The song, which is also OST of Japanese drama Rasen no Meikyu, delivers the message of “you might face difficult times, but I hope you don’t lose the sparkle within you.”
