EXO‘s Sehun is considering appearing in the movie, The Pirates 2 (literal translation).
An official from Sehun’s agency, SM Entertainment, said that Sehun is positively considering a role in The Pirates 2. But nothing has been decided yet.
The role that was offered to Sehun is one of the major roles, a handsome pirate who excels in archery.
Sehun made his debut as a member of EXO in 2012 and has become a top global idol. In 2018, he challenged his first acting with the mobile movie Dokgo Rewind, and has been expanding his territory by appearing on Netflix’s entertainment show Busted.
If he confirmed his appearance in The Pirates 2, he would be the fifth member of EXO step into the big screen, following D.O., Chanyeol, Suho, and Xiumin.
The Pirates 2 is a sequel to The Pirates 1, which starred Son Ye Jin, Kim Nam Gil, and Yoo Hae Jin. Released in 2014, The Pirates 1 was the box office hit, drawing 8.6 million viewers. The Pirates 2 will be directed by Kim Jung Hoon, known for The Accidental Detective.
Actors Kang Ha Neul, Han Hyo Joo, Lee Kwang Soo, Kwon Sang Woo, and Chae Soo Bin have already confirmed their appearances.
