tvN’s new weekend drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay unveiled the character posters that present a close hug of Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji, making headlines.

It’s Okay to Not Be Okay is a romantic comedy-drama about a fantasy fairytale-like love between Moon Kang Tae, a psych ward community worker who refuses to love from being oppressed by the weight of life, and Go Moon Young, a storybook writer who doesn’t understand love due to her antisocial personality disorder.

The released posters show Kim Soo Hyun (Moon Kang Tae) and Seo Ye Ji (Go Moon Young), giving off a cozy and tranquil atmosphere under a subtle sunlight-like light. Not only are there warm and affectionate feelings, but the two also create the feeling of becoming the rock for each other.

In particular, the copies on each poster grabs the attention. In Kim Soo Hyun’s poster, the phrase reads, “If it’s hard enough to die, running away is the easiest choice.” On the other hand, the sentence on Seo Ye Ji’s poster writes, “Don’t forget. Do not forget it and overcome it. If you don’t overcome it, you are just a child whose soul doesn’t grow up.” Such words conflict with each other, but in a way, strangely support each other. Also, the fact that two posters become one when put together draws attention.

The production team said, “These character posters portray the images of two people who want to be warm comfort in an empty world. Please look forward to their stories as they heal each other.”

tvN’s It’s Okay to Not Be Okay will premiere at 9:00 p.m. on June 20 KST.
