Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Hyori, and Rain are getting ready to tear up the stage this summer as a co-ed group.

On May 29, MBC’s How Do You Play? announced that Yoo Jae Suk, a trainee, will form a co-ed group with Lee Hyori and Rain. The group is still putting the puzzle together, and the production team is considering recruiting additional members.

Currently, MBC’s How Do You Play? is carrying out a “summer dance music” project where Yoo Jae Suk is attempting to bring back co-ed groups and fun summer music, which were popular in the 90s and early 2000s.

Previously, Yoo Jae Suk was seen seeking advice from “legends,” including Lee Hyori and Rain, regarding his new project to start a co-ed group. After the broadcast, viewers expressed their desire to see the three to take the stage as a group.

Although his position in the group is still unknown, Yoo Jae Suk, who has shown off his experience with music and dance, is said to be working on his skills as a producer. Meanwhile, Lee Hyori, the icon of the times, has already proven her presence as a member of the first-generation girl group Fin.K.L and also as a legendary solo artist. She will be the main vocalist and center of the group. Additionally, Rain, the “world star” and the center of the new “GANG” meme will become the third member of the group.

Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Hyori, and Rain’s historical moment of forming a co-ed group will air at 6:30 p.m. on Mary 30 KST.
