Big Bang‘s Taeyang helped out his junior idol, Bang Ye Dam.
On May 28, Big Bang’s Taeyang released a surprise video of him singing Bang Ye Dam’s first solo “WAYO.” Taeyang impressed fans all over the world by greeting them with a song for the first time in years.
The 43-second video posted by Taeyang on his Instagram account shows him sitting in the recording studio playing the keyboard and singing part of “WAYO,” which Bang Ye Dam will release on June 5. Despite the short video clip, Taeyang’s appealing vocals on the calm keyboard sound stimulated the listeners’ emotions.

Bang Ye Dam’s “WAYO” is written and composed by WINNER‘s Kang Seung Yoon and AKNU‘s Lee Chan Hyun, and will be released at 6:00 p.m. on June 5 KST. Then in July, YG Entertainment’s new boy group TREASURE will make their official debut.
