Bang Si Hyuk, Rain, and ZICO joined Mnet’s I-LAND as producers and mentors.
I-LAND is an observational reality show that depicts the creation of the next generation of K-POP artists. It showcases a new concept that combines CJ ENM’s content production capabilities and Big Hit Entertainment’s artist-producing know-how.
On May 20, Ment announced the three producers who will firmly support the cast and lead their stellar growth, raising the expectations to the fullest. First, Bang Si Hyuk, the head of Big Hit Entertainment and the producer of BTS, will work as the general producer of I-LAND.
Also, Rain will join the show. He is a first-generation global K-POP star with years of stage experiences and unrivaled performance skills. ZICO, a solo artist who is currently leading the latest music trends, has also joined I-LAND as a producer/mentor. Since he is always capable of presenting fresh and creative inspiration, attention is being focused on his performances.
Now that the astonishing lineup of producers were revealed, expectations for the blockbuster project I-LAND is rising even more so. Mnet’s I-LAND will premiere at 11:00 p.m. on June 26 KST.
