On May 14, EXO‘s leader Suho joined the army training center to start his mandatory military service duties. As the lastest photos of EXO were released, attention is also getting paid to Chen, who was embroiled in the controversy over his marriage.
Suho’s enlistment took place privately in concerns of COVID-19 pandemic, but EXO’s staff members updated fans with some endearing photos via the ‘Lysn’ app.
In the released photos, you can see how EXO members, Chanyeol, Chen, Kai, Baekhyun, and Sehun, all decided to send their leader off to his mandatory service in the traditional, EXO-method. The members first began this tradition – of putting their hands together on the enlisting member’s shaved head – when D.O. and Xiumin enlisted last year.
Besides cheering for Suho and his two-year military service, people are paying attention to Chen, who appeared for the first time after being caught up in the controversy over his marriage and early childbirth. The rallies demanding Chen’s leave from EXO continue to this day.
