ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo has been confirmed to be the male lead in upcoming drama True Beauty.
Cha Eun Woo will play the role of Lee Soo Ho, a smart student with perfect looks. The character is a cold guy who doesn’t care about anyone and doesn’t give the girls even the chance to confess their love for him. But he is actually a pure guy who gets red when he is embarrassed and shouts nonsense when he gets flustered.
True Beauty is about a love story between a girl who doesn’t want anyone to see her bare face and a guy who is the only one who knows what she looks like without her makeup. The drama is based on a poplar webtoon, and netizens picked Cha Eun Woo as the perfect candidate for the role of Lee Soo Ho even before the cast was confirmed.
The drama is scheduled to air later this year.
