Ong Seong Wu Make the Guest Appearance on ‘Master in the House’ as a “One-Day Disciple”

On March 22, Ong Seong Wu appeared as a “one-day disciple” on Mater in the House and learned samulnori (Korean traditional percussion quartet) under Kim Duck Soo, the founder of samulnori.

With Lee Sang Yoon and Yook Sung Jae “graduated” from the show last week, only Lee Seung Gi, Yang Se Hyung and Shin Sung Rok headed to the filming location.

Soon, Ong Seung Wu, the one-day disciple, appeared and said, “I want to do a great job with these wonderful members.” When asked about his appearance, Ong Seong Wu answered, “Lee Seung Gi took such great care me (when Sean appeared as the master). He even gave messages and offered me a warm tea.”

Later, revealed that he and Yook Sung Jae were classmates in school and confessed that he too, think of Lee Seung Gi as a role model. After a short talk, Ong Seong Wu served as a guide, since he knew who the master was in advance, and introduced Kim Duk Soo as “the pioneer of the K-Culture.”

After learning samulnori, Ong Seong Wu succeeded in spinning the sangmo with 8 and 12 steps, which are difficult even for the experts. Upon seeing this, Lee Seung Gi jokingly asked, “Are you free every other Mondays and Tuesdays?,” trying to cast him as an official member on the spot.

As Kim Duck Soo announced that he will bring “the best member on to the stage as a solo performer” during his concert, attention is being paid to who will be chosen.
