Shin Mina, Kim Young Dae, Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun have been confirmed to star in a new tvN drama.
tvN announced the casting lineup for Because I Want No Loss on July 17th. Shin Mina, Kim Young Dae, Lee Sang Yi and Han Ji Hyun will take on the main roles.
Because I Want No Loss tells the story of a woman who got married because she didn’t want to lose money and a man who became her husband because he couldn’t ignore people in need.
Shin Mina will play the role of Son Hae Young, a woman who doesn’t want to lose money under any circumstances. She’s someone who makes decisions about life and love based on a cost-benefit analysis. One day, Hae-young faces the possibility of missing out on a job promotion at her workplace. To avoid such a loss, she makes a plan for a fake wedding and recruits Kim Ji Wook to be her fiancé.

Kim Young Dae will portray Kim Ji Wook, a cashier at a convenience store. He is the type of person who can’t ignore people in need and tries to do the right thing. He is smooth with every customer at the convenience store, except for one person – Hae-young. When she suddenly asks him to become the fake groom at her wedding, he somehow accepts her offer.
Lee Sang Yi has been cast as Bok Kyu Hyun, a third-generation chaebol who doesn’t believe in love and marriage. Han Ji Hyun will play Nam Ja Yeon, a web novel writer who writes NSFW novels online under the pen name Yeon Bora. She becomes entangled with Kyu Hyun while working on her novel.
The show will be helmed by Kim Jung Dik of Work Later, Drink Now and Strong Girl Nam-soon and penned by Kim Hye Young, the writer of Her Private Life.
The production team said, “We’ve brought together a cast with exceptional acting skills and unique charm. You can look forward to a realistic story that everyone will relate to.”
Because I Want No Loss will premiere on tvN on August 26th at 8:50 PM. It will also be available on TVING and Amazon Prime.
