BREAKING: Lee Sun Kyun Found Dead in Car Amidst Drug Allegations

Lee Sun Kyun was found dead in a car at a park in central Seoul on Wednesday, according to reports.

On December 27th, Seoul Seongbuk Police Station reported that a man was found unconscious inside a car parked in a park in Jongno-gu, Seoul. The police responded to a 112 emergency call stating, “My husband left the house after writing what seems like a suicide note.” At the scene, there were also signs of burnt charcoal briquettes, indicating a possible suicide attempt.

The police have confirmed the identity of the man found unconscious in the car as actor Lee Sun Kyun.

In the latest development of Lee Sun Kyun’s drug scandal, he was found unconscious in a car, with suspicions of using charcoal briquettes.

Just yesterday, the actor, who is under investigation for alleged drug use, reportedly claimed he inhaled drugs through a straw but believed them to be sleeping pills.

JTBC reported on the 26th that the Parasite actor countered the statement of nightclub manager A during a recent police investigation, stating, “I inhaled through a straw into my nose, but I thought it was a sleeping pill. I didn’t know it was a drug.”

A provided specific details about the dates and locations of drug use on five occasions. However, there is a discrepancy over whether Lee Sun Kyun knew he was taking drugs. A claimed, “I saw Lee Sun Kyun inhaling ketamine powder with a straw. He expressed curiosity when I mentioned ketamine, and after I obtained it for him, he took it,” implying that Lee Sun Kyun was aware it was a drug.

However, Lee has denied these allegations in his last three police interrogations. He maintains that he believed the substance provided by A to be a sleeping pill and had no intention of taking drugs. He acknowledged four of the five alleged drug use dates stated by A, claiming he only took a sleeping pill once.

Amidst the conflicting claims between A and Lee regarding the drug allegations, the actor, through his attorney, requested a lie detector test from the police.
