Urban Myths has released its first terrifying teaser trailer.
The movie tells a collection of horror stories that we may have heard or experienced in our lives in ordinary places like homes, workplaces and dental clinics. Starting off with the line, “Do you wanna hear a scary story?” the trailer shows Lee Ho Won (played by former INFINITE member Hoya) spotting a weird creature swarming in the drain filter. The scene then switches to Kim Do Yoon doing something suspicious on the night street, and shows an eerie woman in a red dress gazing at Lee Yul Eum in a dark underground parking lot. In the meantime, MONSTA X’s Shownu goes after somthing mysterious and BTOB’s Minhyuk takes shower with a pale hand wrapped around his head.
The movie features all the following star idols: Golden Child’s Jaehyun, WJSN’s SeolA, Lovelyz’s Jisoo, MONSTA X’s Shownu, Oh My Girl’s Arin, AleXa, and THE BOYZ’s Ju Haknyeon.
Among the ten different stories in the film, Hoya’s Urban Myths: Tooth Worms received widespread acclaim at a number of international film festivals, including the 25th Fantasia Film Festival and the 13th Celluloid Screams: Sheffield Horror Film Festival. All episodes in the movie are directed by Hong Won Ki.
Urban Myths will hit theaters on April 27th.
