ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon and IZ*ONE’s Wonyoung Are the New Emcees of ‘Music Bank’

ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon and IZ*ONE’s Wonyoung will be stepping into TXT’s Soobin and Oh My Girl’s Arin’s shoes as the new Music Bank emcees.

Today, Music Bank officially announced Sunghoon and Wonyoung as their new hosts. They will take the mic from the episode to air on October 8th.

Sunghoon is a member of ENHYPEN that debuted triumphantly last year. He has a unique history of being the former backup national figure skater and is the talent in the band with exceptional looks and skills. Moreover, ENHYPEN became the rookie group with the best album sales in 2020. The act even charted in Billboard 200 at No. 18 with BORDER: CARNIVAL, solidifying their position as the “4th-generation hot icon.”

In addition, Wonyoung debuted in 2018 as the center of project group IZ*ONE. Since then, she has won nicknames like “wannabe icon” with her outstanding looks and charms. Now, she is the face of various brands. Furthermore, she is reported to be gearing up for her official debut as a member of the new girl group from Starship Entertainment, raising expectations.

Music Bank‘s �production team expects these two artists to breathe new energy into the show. Currently, Sunghoon and Wonyoung are preparing hard for the perfect first broadcast, including a special stage.
