N.Flying’s leader Lee Seunghyub (J.DON) will make his solo debut in about 6 years of his debut.
On Feb 10, a title poster signaling Lee Seunghyub’s solo debut was released on N.Flying’s social media accounts.
According to the poster, Lee Seunghyub’s first single album is titled ON THE TRACK, and its title track is “Clicker.” “ON THE TRACK” is derived from Lee Seunghyub’s signature sound, “J.DON ON THE TRACK,” and symbolically expresses his musical world as he got on a new “track” for a new chapter as a solo artist.
The title track “Clicker” is a reinterpretation of funk music in the 1980s as a groovy hip-hop genre in the 90s. It’s filled with addictive guitar themes and bluesy organ sounds, and the lyrics contain the idea of changing the negative thoughts into a positive using a unique item called “clicker” (the device used to train animals, especially dogs.)
As the leader and the composer and the lyricists of N.Flying, Lee Seunghyub has took part in some of the group’s major hit songs such as “Rooftop,” “Spring memories” and “STARLIGHT.” His solo song will be unveiled on Feb 22 at 6 pm KST.
