IOK Company, which recently established the music business department, unveiled a new mega project.
On Jan 22, IOK Company released “IOK Music 2021 New Project Poster” on its official social media accounts and announced the start of their new project. In the released poster, a microphone is placed on top of a UFC Octagon, and the phrase “HEART BEGAN TO POUND” catches the eye.
IOK Company recently announced that they plan to establish a music department as a new division and launch a boy idol group. This is the first time that IOK Company, home to some of the biggest actors like Go Hyun Jung and Jo In Sung, will debut a K-pop group.
In particular, as IOK appointed B.I (Kim Han Bin) as an executive director last year, attention focuses on if B.I himself will be in charge of producing a new group. After leaving iKON and YG Entertainment, B.I has been continuing his good deeds and only recently heralded his comeback. As he signaled his return as a singer through Epik High’s upcoming album, expectations are rising over his possible comeback as a producer.
